The Institute of Hydromechanics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine invites researchers, engineers, and graduate students to participate in
the 10th International Conference “Computer Hydromechanics.”

Overall Purpose:

The Computer Hydromechanics conference focuses on the application of computational methods in aero- and fluid mechanics and on evaluating the effectiveness of numerical approaches for solving a wide range of scientific and engineering problems.

Established in 2008, the conference has brought together researchers and engineers from various fields—including aerospace, energy, biomedical, and transportation engineering—and has served as a platform for professional communication, collaboration, and exchange of ideas between Ukrainian scientists and the international research community.

Key Scientific and Collaborative Objectives:

Foster International Collaboration and Communication: Stimulate collaboration of Ukrainian and European universities and potentially interested industrial partners, leveraging ERCOFTAC's network.

Facilitate discussions and knowledge sharing relevant to numerous ERCOFTAC Special Interest Groups (SIGs), including but not limited to SIG 1,10, 15, 20, 33,36, 37,39, 41.

Promote Research Application and Industrial Links, bridging the gap between fundamental research and practical applications by showcasing successful uses of computer modeling in solving scientific and engineering problems; exploring and incorporating industrial aspects and perspectives addressing industry-relevant questions.

Conference Format

The conference will be held in a hybrid format. Participants may present their work either:

• in person at the meeting hall of the Academic Council of the Institute of Hydromechanics, NAS of Ukraine, or
• online via the Zoom platform.

Important Dates

• August 15, 2026 – Deadline for submission of registration forms and conference papers/abstracts
• September 2, 2026 – Notification of acceptance and inclusion in the conference program
• September 29 – October 1, 2026 – Conference dates

Registration Fee

The registration fee is 50$ and may be paid either:

• on-site during the conference, or
• by bank transfer (payment details will be provided individually by email).

Students and PhD students are exempt from the registration fee.
